Child Protection Framework: Children’s Health Queensland (CHQ)
In July 2020, we closed off a service delivery project with our partners Children’s Health Queensland. Within this project we were engaged to support the transition from the development of a draft Child Protection Capability Framework to the development of contemporary resources. This project page outlines our approach to service design planning and implementation and how our involvement informed statewide implementation practices for the Child Protection Capability Framework.
Carer Support for Individuals Experiencing a Suicidal Crisis: Queensland Health
The project involves the development, testing and evaluation of a multi-modal place-based model of support for individuals caring for people experiencing a suicidal crisis. The program was part of the broader Suicide Prevention in Health Services Initiative which aimed to identify and translate the evidence base for suicide prevention in the health service delivery context.
Senior Financial Protection Service Community Education: Relationships Australia Queensland (RAQ)
Beacon Strategies supported Relationships Australia Queensland to plan and deliver community education as part of the Senior Financial Protection Service. As a result of COVID-19, the program involved primarily digital engagement such as videos, webinars, online resources and email marketing to help connect with older people and their communities and raise awareness around recognising and responding to financial elder abuse.
Business development planning for the StandBy Response Service: United Synergies
Standby and has engaged Beacon Strategies to ensure United Synergies are better informed to undertake targeted engagement with PHNs and other prospective funders across Australia, based on alignment between the value proposition of StandBy service and the needs and priorities of funders.
Delivery of needs assessment, service design, and evaluation training: Ipswich City Council
The delivery of a training package for Ipswich City Council Community Development staff was geared toward improving the departmental approach to conducting needs assessments, service design and evaluation activities.
Business Development Plan: Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation
This project aimed to provide Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation (AKKF) with guidance and recommendations relating to the proposed expansion of AKKF’s core program delivery into Queensland.
