Background

The purpose of this document was to provide Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation (AKKF) with guidance and recommendations relating to the proposed expansion of AKKF’s core program delivery into Queensland. The document aimed to provide a high-level summary of a range of relevant issues for consideration to inform future planning actions.

Approach

The proposed aims of the project were:

  1. Develop a Queensland business development plan - with analysis of potential numbers of families, regions/areas to focus.

  2. Stakeholder analysis - for service delivery, collaboration point of view

  3. Identification of funding sources - Trusts and Foundations, Local Government

  4. Develop a proposal for pitching to Queensland funding bodies
