We are working alongside Healthy North Coast and a Lived Experience Panel to identify barriers and enablers to help-seeking, which will lead to the development of locally relevant tools and resources that meet identified mental health literacy needs, helping people to act early and promoting available supports.

This project will follow a step-by-step process developed and successfully implemented by Beacon Strategies in several prior projects. The process is as follows:

1. Project establishment

Beacon Strategies has partnered with the centre to run a female-led, facilitated strategic planning process.

We supported West Moreton Health to develop an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Equity Strategy through consultation with the workforce, community and elders.

The purpose of the project is to support Karakan to identify how it can most effectively and sustainably support people with mental health challenges in the South Brisbane/Logan region to have optimal opportunity for social and economic participation and independence.

The purpose of the project is to support Wesley Mission Queensland in scoping an innovative service response to meet the social and health needs of vulnerable people within the Brisbane CBD.
