Organisational Impact Framework: Act for Kids
In early 2021, Beacon Strategies supported Act for Kids to undertake a project to redefine its organisational purpose based on the contributions and perspectives of key internal and external stakeholders. Based on a recommendation arising from the project, the Act For Kids organisational impact measurement and reporting framework will align with their recently refreshed purpose statement.
Trauma Counselling and Emergency Relief Evaluations: Community Gateway
This project will see Beacon Strategies support Community Gateway to evaluate two of their programs, Trauma Counselling and Emergency Relief. Within this project, Beacon Strategies will provide Community Gateway with an evaluation reporting product that guides the improvement of each program into the future.
Evaluation of a psychosocial support service for children and young people in Logan and Beaudesert: Accoras and Brisbane South PHN
Accoras engaged Beacon Strategies as an independent partner to best inform future funding and service delivery decisions for the Expansion Pilot of the National Psychosocial Support Measure (Child and Adolescent).
Strategic planning support: Footprints Community
Footprints Community engaged Beacon Strategies to provide external support with their latest strategic planning process. Our approach captured internal and external stakeholder perspectives, together with market research and sector trends, preparing organisational leaders to think strategically and plan for the future.
Program Evaluation: Act for Kids
Beacon Strategies was engaged by Act for Kids to undertake an external evaluation of the Flourish Education program, a school-based therapeutic service funded by Brisbane North PHN that aims to support vulnerable students in the Moreton Bay North region.
Implementing a Mental Health Practice Framework: Wesley Mission Queensland
Our project approach involves working with three selected WMQ program areas to each develop a change management plan outlining specific activities to embed the framework’s actions in their everyday practice. Each of these three demonstration projects will be guided and supported by our project team and an implementation steering group with internal subject matter experts from across WMQ.
