Aged Care Workforce Development Solutions: Brisbane South PHN
Beacon Strategies are partnering with Brisbane South PHN to deliver on an action out of the joint Brisbane South PHN and Metro South Health Brisbane South Older People Health and Wellness Strategy 2019-2024. As part of this joint strategy, a capable workforce has been identified as an enabler to achieving the vision and objectives within the joint strategy.
Clinical Governance Framework Refresh: Footprints
Beacon Strategies was engaged by Footprints, a mental health, disability and aged care service provider, to refresh its clinical governance framework. Based on a scan of leading practice and consultation with clinical staff, we supported Footprints to enhance its existing clinical governance systems, ensuring the continued delivery of services that are safe, effective, high quality and person-centered.
Evaluation of Gumbi Gumbi Withdrawal Service: Central Queensland, Wide Bay and Sunshine Coast PHN
In March 2019, the Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Cost PHN engaged Beacon Strategies to undertake an evaluation of the outcomes of an alcohol and other drug withdrawal management service delivered by Gumbi Gumbi Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporations in Rockhampton.
Integrated Team Care Funding Formula Review: North Coast PHN
Beacon Strategies will work collaboratively with NCPHN, North Coast Aboriginal Medical Services and mainstream general practices throughout the project to develop an evidence-based modelling tool to inform decisions on allocation of ITC resources. The Resource Allocation Model (RAM) will be interactive and allow stakeholders to run alternative scenarios of resource allocation to facilitate transparent discussions and decision-making.
Suicide Prevention Digital Tool scoping project: Thompson Institute
Beacon Strategies are partnering with The Sunshine Coast Mind and Neuroscience- Thompson Institute to scope the development of a suicide prevention tool which aims to support people in the community whose role potentially brings them in contact with people at risk of suicide.
