The purpose of the project is to develop and support the implementation of an organisational Mental Health Practice Framework to guide practice relating to holistic mental health and wellbeing across the lifespan of all Wesley Mission Queensland (WMQ) clients and services.

Beacon Strategies will deliver a comprehensive regional service profile outlining the current capacity and projected demand for services within the Brisbane South region, along with a strategic lens document outlining key considerations for future planning within the region, with a particular focus on vulnerable consumers.

The purpose of delivering the Palliative Care and Older People (with a focus on residential aged care facilities and after hours) Commissioning Project is to provide evidence-based information and undertake stakeholder engagement to inform the design and delivery of an agreed regionalised approach to GCPHN investment in palliative care and an after-hours response in relation to aged care.

This project enabled people in the Brisbane North PHN region to get the right care in the right place at the right time when they are at risk of suicide, following a suicide attempt, or bereaved by suicide.

The purpose of the scoping exercise was to explore the feasibility of fully implementing co-commissioning processes (co-planning, co-design and potentially co-funding) for MHAOD services within QLD within the next five years, through describing the existing co-commissioning landscape at a policy level.

The services provided by Beacon Strategies involved the development of tender documentation, project managing the release of tender documentation to market, participation in the tender assessment process and other duties as directed by the Brisbane South PHN.
