Background
Beacon Strategies was engaged by NRCG to develop a Purpose and Practice Framework to demonstrate commitment to best practice for NRCG clients and local communities.
Approach
Beacon Strategies were engaged to produce the deliverables below:
Literature review and benchmarking: review the evidence base for implementation and practice frameworks in social service and program delivery. Desktop analysis of leading examples of such frameworks being utilised by organisations within the community and social services sector.
Staff consultation: conduct interviews with relevant NRCG staff over two days to capture perspectives and understanding of staff relating to service design and delivery.
Practice framework: develop a practice framework that articulates how NRCG undertakes its programs and services using an evidence-informed approach.
Presentation to NRCG staff: present the draft version of the practice framework to relevant NRCG staff at a session to be arranged by NRCG.
Implementation resources: Develop a sample of resources to assist NRCG embed the framework as part of service delivery, develop program-level outcomes measurement methods and communicate the existence of its practice framework to other stakeholders.
