Since the emergence of COVID-19 in March 2020, Capital Health Network (CHN) has been delivering a range of activities focusing on COVID-19 planning and response. The purpose of this project is to undertake a review of CHN’s COVID-19 response activities and provide a set of recommendations to inform its future public emergency planning and response.

To inform the development of a Chronic Conditions Strategy, Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) engaged Beacon Strategies to undertake a situational analysis of the strategic environment, operational environment, population health needs and evidence base relating to chronic conditions relevant to the NQ region.

The purpose of this project is to collaboratively design a service mapping tool in partnership with Western Queensland PHN.

We have been engaged by Brisbane North PHN to help commission early intervention initiatives that will support healthy ageing and ongoing management of chronic conditions.

We are working alongside Healthy North Coast and a Lived Experience Panel to identify barriers and enablers to help-seeking, which will lead to the development of locally relevant tools and resources that meet identified mental health literacy needs, helping people to act early and promoting available supports.

This project will follow a step-by-step process developed and successfully implemented by Beacon Strategies in several prior projects. The process is as follows:
