Elliot Parkinson, Director

Elliot leads teams and supports client partners with projects that make an impact. He’s passionate about using insights from data, research and people’s experiences to provide advice and lead change. 

Prior to co-founding Beacon Strategies, Elliot worked in state and local government to plan, manage and evaluate programs that improved the environments in which people live and work. Elliot holds a Master of Public Health and Bachelor of Science, is an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Public Health at the University of Queensland and is a member of the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA), Australian Evaluation Society (AES) and Social Impact Measurement Network of Australia (SIMNA).

Some of his favourite things in the world are food, spending time with friends and family, getting lost in big cities, listening to inspiring people and trying to learn Japanese.
