What happens when you combine Data Craftswoman and People-Person? Let Nicole Hare tell you!

Fortunately for Beacon Strategies, at the tail end of 2020 we were able to take the time and invest resources into expanding our team once again. During this expansion we hired two new wonderful analysts who have now settled in and are working alongside the rest of the Beacon Team.

One of these analysts is Nicole Hare. We are so excited to have Nicole join our team here as a part of our expansion strategy as we utilise her unique skill set and impressive background to help us make a difference in the health and social service sector. While we could go on and on about how amazing she is ourselves, we thought you might enjoy getting to know her firsthand.

Tell us about why you joined the Beacon Strategies team?

With a background in health data analytics but looking for something of a professional change, I was drawn to Beacon Strategies due to the highly impactful outcomes they deliver for their clients in the health, social services and not-for-profit-space. Playing into this, I was very impressed with Mitch and Elliot’s attitudes towards spending any down-time doing pro-bono work for organisations who may not otherwise be able to access consultancy services; a compassionate mindset that aligned with my beliefs and passions.

What technical skills do you bring to the team?

Technically, I’m a data analyst specialising in business intelligence, health economics and genomics. Introspectively, I’m a people person who is a great conversationalist and listener. Combining these two facets, I have the ability to ascertain, digest and interpret a large amount of information from a variety of sources to generate outcomes with tangible real-world impact.

What do you hope to achieve at Beacon Strategies within the next 12 months?

Over the next 12 months I am eager to learn the in’s-and-out’s of strategy consulting and further develop my project management skills. I also look forward to meeting and developing relationships with many of Beacon Strategies’ wonderful clients, seeing the world from their point of view and understanding how their organisation is working to make Australia a better place.

Make sure you keep an eye out for what is to come next for Nicole here at Beacon Strategies. She will be present across both our LinkedIn and Facebook whilst also playing a key role in our current and future projects - stay tuned!
